URGENT, IF YOU HAVE EVER OWNED A CAT, PLEASE HELP!

Journal Entry: Tue May 15, 2012, 5:58 PM
I'm not sure how many are aware of this, but for the past year I've been feeding a feral cat.
She's come by my house and attracted a mate, she got plump. I assumed she was pregnant, but I knew nothing about cats. I'm not even sure if shes stray, but I guessed it ^^;

ANYWAY

My gray kitty was laying outside today.. She was under my porch when I got home from school. I thought nothing of it, it was weird, yes, but I didn't bother. I assumed she was just hiding for her own reasons, she was never TOO up and cuddly. Cheese, the boy cat, (I call them my lover kitties, because they're feral cats that stick by each other); was right by her side, and still is. He was licking her. I assumed he was just being a good father. I'm gonna look up some more information, at first I thought she might have been having kittens, as her breasts are ...well, abnormally sized.
REALLY large for a cat. They're also blue.. It scared me of course. I don't know much about pregnant cats, I only got my first cat, Figaroe kitty a few years ago, but as I lifted my porch - she screamed and ran ...well, tried, towards the back, towards the wall of the house - I put a blanket down just for good measure, but I'm scared for her. I don't think she's having her kittens...

She limped badly. I think she got hit by a car.. :c I'm scared she's gonna die. My parent's are screaming at me that she will. I wish they'd shut up. I don't have money, and I don't have a car. I don't live near a vet, and I don't KNOW a vet.

I've fed her for a year, and even put blankets out for her, and bought her a collar, she and her boyfriend cat hang around all day, nearly everyday, I didn't mind it.
I knew something like this might happen, but please don't suggest taking her to a vet.

:c Just know that I cant, okay?
I'm out of options, I'll have to wait it out.
I will answer any questions however.

She's really tiny, I'm not sure if she ate or not this morning, but I put some food out there for her.. If she doesn't touch it, I'll try some wet food, and if not...I'm not sure what I'll do..He'll be so depressed if she goes, I know so. What keeps me going is that shes not screaming, and theres no blood - but...I know thats not a for sure thing.

Heres a photo :c I'm not sure whats going on with her.. the pink thing is her breast - I'm not sure whats going on with those, honestly.
I was hoping she'd have her kittens, shes plump and such but...this is really weird.  :c I'm gonna google for information but I really think she just got hit by a car, the way shes acting..

edit: fixed the photo!

ANYWAY who has either:

A) owned a pregnant cat

or

B) had a cat hit by a car

PLEASE TELL ME if this sounds like it.

She does not scream unless pushed or shoved, but she was never really the talkative, rub-up-against kind of cat. She just sat there, meowed, purred, and such, but never really got close. So I'm not sure if she was in pain or scared.
Her leg WAS pretty weird though. :c I'm not sure if shes close to giving birth..

or gonna die soon.. :c

she is pregnant i can tell by looking but if she lets you touch her then feel her stomach for kicking then you have your answer on weather she is pregnant or not................ I may only be an eighth grader but i know a lot about animals

Since you said her breasts are large, not simply one, and that combines with the other signs, I'd say she's pregnant. Since she's a fairly young cat, the limping could just be a reaction to the pregnancy form not being used to manevering while pregnant. It could also simply be from fighting off other cats who wanted to mate with her, and since she's pregnant, she'll beat them off usually. They're strong, so I wouldn't worry about it all too much right away. The breasts being so large is strange, but not unheard of, especially since this may be her first pregnacy, which also goes with the blue veins. I've had plenty of tumors on my pets, and never had I seen them have veins like that, so I'm faily certain you're all right as it is. Aslso, animal's skin pigment can also be blue-ish in places. My dog Ginger is like that. XD She's got pink skin with splotches of black and blue. haha Makes her look dirt even when she's clean.

If you want, I can talk to a fertility nurse I know tomorrow.

RSPCA might be your best option here, it's always better to be safe than sorry!

I believe she is pregnant.

Cats don't like to be around humans when they are giving birth.

Stay calm, don't freak out. Just check on her hourly, and if you see her stomach tighten, then she might be having contractions.

I'm pretty sure her limping might be due to jumping off things and landing weirdly, because well... She's pregnant.

okay my cat just like a month have her kittens
and the beginning i was like u as well i didnt know much so what better solution is finding the thing on the net
any symptoms and stuff u might seem to be weird just search for it u never know dat might be normal or bad
(her lil kittens were born in my room btw right next to me)
all dat i did was just keep checking on her and if her breasts are pink and hard dats normal
it means dat she is gonna give birth soon enough
question thou how u know she was in a car accident, did u see it happening?
another thing when they give birth they dont scream all the do is pur on meow
i find it very interesting dat her mate is right next to her
if she is gonna give birth be sure to have ready a box and some gloves cause if they are lil were u might gonna have to help her , my cat was gonna give birth to 4 but 2 die , i was the one dat pick them up and try to revive
sagechan be sure she has plenty of water and milk and if u can try to atrack her to a closed place .

Ive had about 50 cats in my life... And had both cases happen... If she doesnt let you touch her theres no way to be sure. but I had a cat that was so badl hit that the skull was broken in many places, it was amazing that it was still alive...

And father cats never usually stay by their mates. If anything thats a bad thing as far as Ive seen, male cats often kill any male kittens born to any litter to remove any competitiveness in their territory.

Yours is a unique situation. But Imma definitely keep my ears out on this one.

Theres not much you can do if the cat doesnt let you touch it.

I went outside to check on her - the other cats were still peering in the same spots, but no growls were heard. I put more blankets out for her but the rain will keep me from checking on her to see if shes still alive, etc.,
I am aware of male cats leaving their mates, I find this VERY weird but he's ALWAYS been beside her since they met, and I bet even in the end, he'll be beside her.
Hes very protective, and loves to be around her, they rub against each other and truly love each other. They even sleep next to each other :c

Heres a photo from the past: a few weeks ago:
[link] they are ALWAYS together <3 They're my tanabata kitties.
